WAHA High Performance 14 (2009) & 15 (2008) Pre Goalie Tryouts

Goaltenders born in 2009 and 2008 can register online for more than one goalie tryout. Goalies will be selected from these Pre Goalie tryouts to compete in their respective skater birth-year tryout on March 17-19 with the 2009's competing at Stevens Point (Ice Hawks Arena) and the 2008's competing at Waupaca Expo Center. Selected goalies may or may not be assigned to a team at the skater tryout but may have a group reporting time which will be posted on the WAHA website.

Goalie Tryouts:
Sunday January 29, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Altoona Hobbs Sports Center
Sunday February 12, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm at Oregon Community Sports Arena
Sunday February 19, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Stevens Point Ice Hawk Arena
Wednesday February 22, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm at Naga-Waukee Park Ice Arena

  • Goaltenders may register and attend more than one goalie tryout.
  • Online Registration will stay open during the goalie tryout.
  • GOALIES MUST REGISTERED ONLINE. NO EXCEPTIONS
  • The tryout fee is $25 for each goalie tryout.
  • Use debit card, credit card or a gift card to register. NO CASH OR CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED AND NO REFUNDS.
  • All Participants must be registered with USA Hockey for the 2022-23 season. If not, click HERE first and register. To register for a goalie tryout click “REGISTER” below.
  • No goalie tryout date changes after online registration is complete for clinic.
When all the goalie tryouts are over, the selected goalies for the HP 14 & 15 SKATER TRYOUTS will be notified by email to register online using a special link. The cost is $100. Once all goalies are registered, WAHA will then assign the goalies to the skater tryout. Selected goalies may have a group reporting time or be assigned to a team reporting time.

Very Important! If you are selected to the skater tryout, please note that your report time will be posted on www.wahahockey.com on March 11 with the skaters. Goalies must bring their tryout jersey from the goalie tryout to the HP 14 & 15 skater tryout.
